After the the long period of time that some musicians have been able to last in the music business, some of them would try to take somewhat of a hiatus. Many times these artists can’t seem to let their gift go and eventually would make a return to the stage. Roger Waters has decided to make his return to the stage after 25 years of now releasing a new album.

According to CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND, on May 19th, them Pink Floyd musician will release his his album Is This The Life We Really Want?. While the announcement of a new album is exciting for fans as well as an official release date, an official teaser/snippet for the album has been released previewing new music.

Waters decided that he wanted to work with someone else on his return back to the stage. Waters recruited Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich to work on his comeback album which he described as “part magic carpet ride, part political rant, part anguish.” Rogers spoke about what one of the themes of the album will be love, “It’s pondering … the question of how do we take these moments of love  if we are granted any in our lives  and allow that love to shine on the rest of existence, on others.”

Rogers posted this to his Facebook,

To support the album Rogers will go on a tour that will include 54 dates from Los Angeles to Chicago.
