A new album for The Shins is just around the corner, March 10th to be exact; and, the album in question goes by the name and tune of (no pun intended) Heartworms. In light of this much anticipated release, The Shins have released yet another new single. The new track “Painting A Hole” is the fifth installment from the new album, following up the songs “Dead Alive,” “Name for You,” “Mildenhall,” and “The Fear”.
Painting A Hole is dance-y number, with that quintissential indie “vibe” so-much equated to The Shins, and their signature sound.
Pitchfork shares, that with Heartworms just on the horizon, The Shins have kicked off their tour in honor of the album’s namesake. Find the international tour dates below (potential gigs to be added in the future, as it sounds) along with the newest single. Hurray.
