Citi Sound Vault Presents The Chainsmokers Live at the Hollywood Palladium, CA

Citi partnered with Live Nation to create the Citi Sound Vault, a live music platform for Citi card holders that allows access to major artists in intimate venues, which includes meet-and-greets and backstage access for the ultimate concert experience. On Saturday, inside the Hollywood Palladium, American DJ duo The Chainsmokers performed. The group includes members Drew Taggart and Alex Pall.

Regarding their three Grammy nominations, Taggart admitted to the packed crowd at the Citi Sound Vault concert, “we’re pretty fucking nervous”

Along with being nominated for Best New Artist, the duo were nominated for two Grammy awards, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Closer” featuring Halsey and Best Dance Recording for “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya — the latter won them their first Grammy.

Mauricio Alvarado: I've been a concert photographer for the past 5 years. My work has been featured on various music magazines and websites. Some of the bands I've photographed are Yes, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Santana, and many more. I'm obsessed with 70's Progressive Rock music. I enjoy photographing bands that I grew up listening to. I'm also a big vinyl record collector since I was in High School. I always enjoy taking my albums to shows and getting them signed by the bands.
