Juliana Hatfield performs at Boots and Saddle in April. The former member of Blake Babies and Some Girls who are now a solo artist. Juliana was the founding member of Juliana Hatfield Three, until their breakup. Juliana has announced the release of her new solo album, Pussycat, due April 28 this year.
Juliana Hatfield got her singing career started while playing with Blake Babies in college. During the 1990s, Blake Babies were a big hit on multiple college campuses. The group toured all over the United States and worldwide. Blake Babies work was classified as punk rock and slightly pop. After the break-up, Juliana Hatfield joined The Lemonheads in 1992. While not an official member, Juliana sang on and off with the band until 1993. Juliana started her solo career after The Lemonheads, releasing her first solo album, Hey Babe, in 1992. Hey, Babe earned positive reviews, making it one of the most successful independent albums during its debut year. Juliana played on major rock stations while also appearing on MTV regularly.
Juliana Hatfield was a huge success in the 1990s. Juliana released her EP on the indie label Bar/None in 1997. Juliana released a few albums during the early 2000s under the record label. Juliana last album didn’t reach the same level as her previous work. In 2014, Juliana released, Whatever, My Love, with critics calling it one of the most anticipated albums of the year. Last year, Juliana announced the release date of the new album, Pussycat. Be on the lookout for that!
