Every year fans have so much to look forward to when it comes to the music industry. Their favorite artists release new albums, go on tour, or announce something else. One of the moments that fans cherish the most is the moment that they get to see an artist perform live on stage. NPR has announced the lineup for their SXSW showcase and they did not disappoint.
SXSW was founded in 1987 in the city of Austin, Texas. It is beloved by many because of its many conferences and festivals that are dedicated to bringing people from different parts of the business and world together. SXSW is known for having concerts over the weekend and also for having films premiere during the weekend.
March 10th-19th is when SXSW will take place. On Wednesday, March 15th NPR will be taking over the outdoor stage with performances from acts like The New Pornographers, Joey Bada$$, Lizzo, Sylvan Esso among many others. Door do not open up until 7:00pm and the show begins at 7:30pm.

The New Pornographers will be going on tour, their SXSW appearance will act as the opening of the tour. They will start off in America and cross the water to perform in Berlin and Paris and many more destinations.
