Mako @ Underground Arts 3/27

Mako makes a stop at the Underground Arts on their Run For Your Life tour next month. The American DJ-ing duo found success after releasing their music on YouTube. Mako has played at various music festivals and shows no sign of slowing down. Mako released their debut studio album, Hourglass, last year.

Mako consists of Logan Light and Alex Seaver as the only members. Logan got his start after booking gigs for parties and eventually connected with other world famous acts. Logan attended the University of Michigan after leaving Columbia University in New York to pursue a degree in communications. Alex attended the famous Juilliard School on a full scholarship. After realizing classical music was not his calling, Alex moved to L.A. to work music for TV. Alex and Logan formed Mako after working with each other at the 2011 Electric Daisy Carnaval.

Once Mako was formed, the duo was hard at work getting their music out. Mako eventually works with some of the best EDM artists in the world. In 2013, Mako released their debut single, Into The Light featuring Mariana Bell. Mako remixed popular EDM songs and released the songs through YouTube. Mako’s debut album, Hourglass, was a complete turn from their previous singles. Mako had crossed into uncharted waters with their blend of indie rock and pop. The album was a huge success with their fans. Mako is on the rise, don’t miss your chance to see them.
