As of the best rappers to come out of Detroit, Big Sean shows no sign of stopping. Big Sean heads to The Fillmore next month on his I Decided tour. Big Sean released his fourth album, I Decided early this year. Big Sean gained his second number one album on Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Over the years, Big Sean has amazed the music industry with his word style and catchy beats. Big Sean’s debut album, Finally Famous, featured a huge range of guest artists. Chiddy Bang, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Kanye West, Pusha T, and Pharrell were some of the names on the highly popular album. After the release of the album, Big Sean went on tour in 2011. Kanye West signed Big Sean to his music label, G.O.O.D Music, before his debut album. Big Sean released his second album, Hall of Fame, after delaying it. Hall of Fame lived up to the hype of Big Sean. Big Sean’s third album, Dark Sky Paradise, a little darker and serious than the previous albums. Dark Sky Paradise was certified platinum in 2016.

Big Sean has drawn comparisons to Eminem, Kanye West, and J. Cole. Big Sean has always tried to bring his unique look at life through his music. Big Sean has earned multiple Grammy nominations during his career. In 2015, Big Sean won Best Video with Social Message at the MTV Video Music Awards for his inspiring music video, One Man Can Change The World. Big Sean is one artist not to be missed!

Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
