Bon Iver Announces Spring 2017 Tour Dates

2012’s Best New Artist, Bon Iver, has just announced a string of tour dates for Spring of this year, via a Twitter post that can be seen below. The tour is comprised of a brief four show outing, with two of the shows being both weekends of Coachella in Indio, California. With the Coachella appearances set to wrap up the tour on April 15 and 22, Denver, CO will play host to the tour’s opener at the 1stBank Center on April 11. The second show will be held two days later at The Joint in Las Vegas, Nevada. For a full list of tour dates, see below.

Pre-sale for the tour will be made available to fans that sign up to the Bon Iver Community Page on February 22 at 10AM local time. The sign up is free and relatively fast and easy to do, well worth the pre-sale abilities. General sale tickets will be made available two days later at the same 10AM local time.

The tour will follow a previously canceled European tour that was supposed to begin last month on January 22. The tour was canceled due to “personal reasons” and all purchased tickets were refunded to fans alone with an apology from the folk group. They assured fans after this cancellation that they would be back and this new tour announcement is proof of that.

Aside from winning Best New Artist in 2012, Bon Iver also received Grammy nomination for their most recent album 22, A Million.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
