312 Day presented by Goose Island and Chicago Reader takes place March 12th with headliner Jenny Lewis performing at Thalia Hall.  Lewis, the American singer-songwriter and actress SOMETHING

Lewis began her music career as the lead singer and guitarist for indie group Rilo Kiley in 1998.  The band enjoyed some commercial success and released six albums over the course of their sixteen years together and officially broke up in 2014.  Since then, Lewis has released three solo albums.  Her debut album, Rabbit Fur Coat (2006), which she released along with the Watson Twins, has a smooth soul sound.  She followed that up with Acid Tongue in 2008 and The Voyager in 2014.  Lewis has also appeared on songs with other groups like The Postal Service, Elvis Costello and the Imposters as well as She & Him.  The busy songstress is also a member of the trio Nick as Fuck.

Special guest Greta Morgan will also hit the stage that evening.  Morgan, who performs under the name Springtime Carnivore, began her career with the Chicago-based band The Hush Sound.

Fun Fact!  Jenny Lewis has a very active childhood acting career; most memorably starring as Hannah Nefler on the cult classic Troop Beverly Hills!
