Mike Posner @ Theatre of Living Arts 4/25

Mike Posner is coming to the Theatre of Living Arts later this year.  If you don’t know his name you surely know his song, I Took a Pill in Ibiza. So much had happened for Mike Posner this past two years and 2017 promise to only get better.

Mike Posner got his start back in 2010 with the release of his debut hit album, 31 Minutes to Takeoff. The album featured two of Billboard’s Hot 100 songs, Cooler Than Me and Please Don’t Go. The album was highly praised because of the single, Please Don’t Go, released before the album that year. With a successful album under his belt, Mike Posner went to work on his second album. After reaching the top of his career, Mike Posner fell into a depression which delayed his second album for years. During that time period, Mike Posner wrote some of the best songs for other artists. Sugar by Maroon 5 and Boyfriend by Justin Bieber were both written by Mike Posner. Mike Posner has also written for Wiz Khalifa, Nick Jonas, Big Sean, TI, Avicii, 2 Chainz and many others.

After taking time off Mike Posner released his sophomore album, At Night, Alone in May 2016. I Took a Pill in Ibiza was remixed by SeeB which had over 750 million streams on Spotify and earned a number two spot on USA Top 50. The song earned various number one spots in Poland, Norway, New Zealand, Canada, and United Kingdom music charts. Mike Posner is currently working with rapper Blackbear on a hip hop duo project, Mansionz, due to release in 2017. Aside from music, Mike Posner announced a book of poetry, Teardrops and Balloons, to be released late 2017.

Mike Posner is back in the music spotlight and looks like he is here to stay!
