Pohoda Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Future Islands, Mark Lanegan Band and Alt-J

Pohoda Festival has announced their 2017 lineup for the event that will be held Trenčín Airport, Slovakia from July 6-8. This festival will include Future Islands, who will also be performing at FORM Arcosanti festival, Mark Lanegan Band, who’s working toward the release of their new ablum Gargoyle, and Alt-J, who will be performing at the Blue Dot Festival.

Pohoda Festival is an annual festival that was first organized in 1997 in Trenčín. This festival was originally called “Kráľovská Pohoda“, and over time went through a series of name changes. This festival focuses on genres such as alternative music, rock, pop, dance music, world music, house, techno, drum and bass and hip hop. But the event also features theatre, discussions, chamber music, dance and literature workshops. Previous artists were Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Stereo MCs and Task Force.

The festival provides areas for caravans and camping for people who choose to stay there throughout the event. Also there are the festival does provide shuttles from the train stations in order to arrive at the event.
