If you hate Big Brother as much as the next guy but didn’t have the vocals to sing about, check out the punk rock band, The Interrupters coming to the Underground Arts this March. The Interrupters continue their tour all across the United States promoting their sophomore album, Say It Out Loud.
The Interrupters consist of Aimee Interrupter, Kevin Bivona and his brothers Jesse and Justin. After meeting in Los Angeles, they immediately started touring with rock bands like Rancid and The Transplant in 2011. Before releasing their self-titled album The Interrupters, the group did more touring and appearances at Riot Fest and Rockfest.
The Interrupters first album debuted at #95 on iTunes chart, grabbing huge praise along the way. Their unfiltered lyrics gave the fans something to root for and a voice. Each song gives you the strength to go out and get what you deserve. Their lead single, Take Back The Power, been used for various tv shows and movies. Their music is heavily influenced by Rancid, Tim Timebomb, and Teenage Bottlerock.
If head bashing and rebelling is on your to-do list this year, The Interrupters will have you covered. You will not be disappointed.
