Crossover/ Thrash Metal band Power Trip have revealed yet another single from their upcoming album Nightmare Logic set to be released February 24 via Southern Lord.The title track “Nightmare Logic” is the Dallas- forged bands last sneak preview of the album until its release later this month. Their upcoming album is the follow up to their 2013 release of Manifest Decimation.
Four minutes and twenty-one seconds of pure head banging, window shattering metal, Power Trip never fails to remind fans exactly what their music is all about.
Last November the Texas thrashers dropped the first single of the album “Firing Squad.” Last month, they released the second single “The Executioners Tax (Swing of the Axe)” which Power Trip claims to be their catchiest song every written.
Southern Lord, described frontman Riley Gale’s lyrics as reflecting “that aggression by honing in on the devaluation of human life by those who’ve gained power through money and politics. By creating a broad dissection of human suffering above reproach from personal agendas, the lyrics attempt to unify and inspire listeners.”
In support Nightmare Logic Power Trip is set to kick off their North American tour on February 24 in Houston, TX.
