Ryan Adams has been very busy with the upcoming release of his much anticipated sixteenth solo album Prisoners, releasing various singles from the album and accompanying videos. Some of the singles that Adams has released so far have been “To Be Without You,” “Do you still love me?” and “Doomsday.” He can now add live acoustic video to that list for his single “Breakdown.” Adams released the video via his twitter feed, seen below, earlier today. The live performance will make you do exactly what the song title entails as you feel like you are sitting in on this very intimate performance. Prisoners is set to be released on February 17. See the tweet and video below.

The American Singer-songwriter was originally a member of the band Whiskeytown but the bulk of his musical career has come from his extensive fifteen album solo career. Aside from his original work, Adams has been very successful with his cover work, such as his last album 1989 which was a cover album of Taylor Swift’s 1989 and his more recent cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police.”

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
