Moose Blood @ Stubb’s (Indoors) 2/28

Based out of Canterbury, Kent, Moose Blood are an English emo rock band that formed in 2012. The group’s overall sound has been likened to influential emo acts such as Brand New, The Get Up Kids, and American Football. Last year, Moose Blood announced through social media, that they were signing to Hopeless Records for the release of their sophomore effort, Blush. To promote their Hopeless Records debut, the single “Honey” was featured on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, and garnered positive buzz.

In 2015, Moose Blood embarked on their first ever headlining tour. Later that year, the band had the opportunity to tour as a supporting act on the summer Vans Warped Tour—which helped them achieve notoriety in the US. Prior to the groups successful 2015, Moose Blood dropped their debut album, I’ll Keep You in Mind, From Time to Time, under No Sleep Records. The traction that the Canterbury natives experienced in 2015 made fans eager for their sophomore record, Blush. Lyrically, Blush was driven by the groups personal relationships, and the changes they faced between their first and second record. Despite those changes, Moose Blood have managed to retain the signature sound that so many fans fell in love with in the first place.

Check out Moose Blood later this month at Stubb’s (Indoors) on the 28th.
