After releasing their new single and video “Love Is Mystical,” Cold War Kids have just announced a new album L.A Divine that is set for release April 7th via Capitol Records. “Love Is Mystical” debuted as an iHeartRadio World Premiere and is now available at all digital outlets. This is the first single from the band’s upcoming album. The album is an ode to Cold War Kids’ hometown of Los Angeles. The official video for “Love Is Mystical” premiered via Vevo in which the band shot the clip in their hometown Los Angeles at St. Vincent court that is a California historical landmark.
The unique band consists of Nathan Willett, Matt Maust, Joe Plummer, Matthew Schwartz, and David Quon who all formed together in 2004 in Fullerton, CA. In addition to their release of their upcoming album, the band will be previewing songs from on its upcoming North American headlining tour that kicks off March 3rd in Florida at Okeechobee Festival. This will be the band’s sixth studio album, but the first with Capitol. The album follows up after their 2014 Hold My Home that debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Alternative Album chart.
