Out of the Monstercat community, these two have banded together for a collaboration between Ephixa and Laura Brehm. The collaborative effort emerges with the track “Losing You.” The pari tried to hone in on an emotion that everyone can relate to of that heartbreaking feeling of a relationship starting to dwindle apart. The single release art shows a girl falling down from the sky. The song builds up until you finally hear that angelic voice. The calming and ambient atmosphere takes us to the headspace of a bad break up.
The lyrics add deeper emotion to the already supercharged beat as Laura Brehm sings “Losing you feels like the earth is falling through.” The colorado native singer/songwriter has revealed more of her potential with each song as she works with international producers and artists. She has combined her experience of different areas of music with a new folk/electronic sound.
