Ryan Adams comes off busy 2016, starting the New Year off right with the video for “Do You Still Love Me”, for his first single off his forthcoming and 16th studio album Prisoner! The Noah Abrams direct video features a collage of live and studio session footage. Live footage comes from his 2016 tour including the special performance from iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater out of Denver Colorado. The studio footage shows the intimate atmosphere of him in his Prisoner recording sessions. The visuals dance back and forth from clip to clip of back bending guitar solos and surprisingly personal mixing sessions, some in 4k recording some in 44mm style giving viewers a captivating glimpse of the huge year Adams experienced.
The album Prisoners is set to release February 17th along with an elaborate Special Edition Box Set both available for pre-order now. Besides “Do You Still Love Me”, Adams has now released two other singles from the album, heart wrenching “To Be Without You” and the rock and roll James “Doomsday”. The album Prisoners looks to continue the enduring legacy of Ryan Adams that fans have come to love and expect.
