Banks @ The Warfield 4/20

R&B Singer Banks is making her way into San Francisco this spring. She’ll be performing at the Warfield on April 20th. Right before you see here there, she’ll be performing on the big stage at this year’s Coachella.

Banks hit success when she dropped a single song after her graduation from USC. The song was Before I Ever Met You, which was actually picked up and popularized back on the BBC1 Radio. Recently, her latest release was in 2016 with the album The Altar. This album is popular for the songs Gemini Feed, Fuck With Myself, and Trainwreck. Previous to that, she has dropped two earlier EPs, Fall Over and London, both which were released in 2013. She’s clearly impressive. Her other full studio album is entitled Goddess, which is responsible for her hits Beggin’ For Thread, Waiting Game, and Someone New. Most of the songs mentioned have hit more than 15,000,000 hits on Spotify individually. This girl is fire. Her sound is a mix of R&B, pop, and electropop. She’s different, her music when remixed can make for an awesome dance it or sung to show off her gracious voice. She’s eclectic, but consistent with her style and overall vibe.

Fans of Erykah Badu, FKA twigs, and MØ will be down for this show. Banks keeps it real even if she is quietly blowing up around the music scene. She’s only been in the game for about four years and she’s been killing it so well that I aspire to be as successful as her as new college grad. Look out for this show because it’s gonna be bomb.
