Sasquatch! Festival has announced their 2017 lineup, featuring a wide range of artists from eclectic genres like punk, hip-hop, indie, electronic and more. At the top of the bill are major names like Chance the Rapper, Frank Ocean, The Shins, Rüfüs Du Sol, MGMT, Phantogram and The Head & The Heart. The festival will take place over Memorial Day weekend, which is May 26-28. As always, the remotely-located festival will be held at the Gorge Amphitheater along the Columbia River, just outside George, WA, which, as the crow flies, is over 100 miles from Seattle.

Twenty One Pilots had big years in 2015 and 2016, mostly on the strength of their fourth studio full length, Blurryface. The record spawned several singles that crossed over commercially, introducing the rock/rap hybrid to a larger audience than ever.

Frank Ocean was all over the news in 2016, as he finally released his repeatedly-stalled second LP. However, instead of just one album of music, fans of Ocean were treated to a pair of releases. The first was titled Endless . Technically a “visual” album, it was released exclusively through Apple Music without any track listings and was accompanied by a minimalist video. Just a day later, he released his proper 2nd LP, Blonde, which was of course, a critical success.

Another who had big years last year that will be atop the festival’s poster are Chance the Rapper, who gained critical acclaim for his Coloring Book mixtape.

Expect big things from The Shins in 2017, as the band has recently announced the upcoming release of their latest album, Heartworms, in March.

2017 marks the 16th year of Sasquatch! Festival, over which time it has made a name for itself as one of the premier rock and pop festivals on the West Coast. The festival will be put on by Live Nation and Adam Zacks. Find tickets for the festival here – they go on sale Saturday, January 28 at 10 AM PST.
