Artists are in constant competition with each other. Trying to claw their way to the top spot and then trying to figure out how to maintain their earned position. But from time to time fans get a chance to see how much of a fan that an artist is of another artists. That is what has happen with music group The xx.
The xx decided to cover Drake/Rihanna’s hit single “Too Good” which was featured on Drakes recent album Views. The cover took place on BBC’s radio 1’s “Live Lounge”. They had this to say about the cover, “We love this song,” Oliver Sim said. “We have taken it to a different place, it’s maybe not as danceable, but we hope you enjoy it.”
This year The xx can be seen performing at the Boston Calling Festival along with Tool and Mumford and Sons and many others. They will also be performing at the Shaky Knees Festival.
Perhaps the most exciting announcement of 2017 for xx fans is that they announced a 2017 North American tour.
2017 is going to be an exciting year for The xx fans and a very busy year for The xx. With such a long year ahead and the year just starting more anouncements can be expected from the famed music group.
