Pioneering thrash group Suicidal Tendencies have announced their winter 2017 World Gone Mad Tour, which confusingly is a US-only tour. They will tour alongside veteran sludge metal group Crowbar and acclaimed thrash group Havok.
The winter leg of the World Gone Mad Tour kicks off on Feb. 22nd at the Observatory in Santa Ana and concludes March 10 at Summit Music Hall Complex in Denver, CO. They will play 13 shows in total across the nearly month long stretch. The group toured extensively throughout 2016.
While Suicidal Tendencies released 11th studio album World Gone Mad on Sept. 30, they’re a band amidst a great deal of turnover. The album is the band’s first studio album to feature Jeff Pogan on guitar, Ra Díaz on bass and Dave Lombardo on drums. Mike Muir remains the band’s only remaining original member, and Dave Pleasants is the group’s only other member to have played on all album’s since the turn of the millennium.
