New Order Announces Spring 2017 Tour Dates

Amidst the Coachella lineup release frenzy, New Order is giving us another reason to empty our pocketbooks by adding several new tour dates surrounding his anticipated Coachella performances. The English rock band will be stopping by the Radio City Music Hall in New York, Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, and The Greek Theater in Berkeley in addition to the two weekends of the Coachella music Festival.

The band is also on the lineup for The Tibet House US Benefit 30 Annual Concert alongside Iggy Pop and Patti Smith.

Fans can expect to hear a mix of material, from the band’s old music and their most recent. Their latest album The Music Complete was released in 2015. They released several music videos to some of the album’s best tracks, including “Tutti Frutti” and “Restless”. That same year fans found out band member Peter Hook was suing his fellow former bandmates in regards to disputes over royalties.

In more recent news, New Order is putting their foot through the door of a new business venture outside of music. They have teamed up with Moorhouse Brewery of Burnley to collaborate on a beer called “Stray Dog”. The beer has been successful in the UK so far selling 100,000 pints. Fortunately for the rest of the world, this has instigated plans for international distribution in the new year.
