After English Indie rock band Alt-J released some pictures on Instagram, including a huge recording sesh, fans are starting to get anxious for a new album. Drummer Thom Sonny Green said a few words in an interview, revealing a part of the music making process.

While talking to NME, Green said “There’s been a lot of ideas. We’re very excited about it, I think it’s going to be pretty interesting. I feel like it’ll be different, but I don’t know. It’s funny – we write together so well and it comes pretty naturally and pretty quick, but I can’t predict it. We write what we feel.” Check below to see the teaser Instagram pics to get pumped for the upcoming album.

It’s no surprise fans are anticipating a follow-up album so much, considering their last LP in 2014 This Is All Yours received critical acclaim including Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. They released several music videos for some of the tracks on the record including “Pusher” and “Left Hand Free”.

In the upcoming year, Alt-J will be playing several festivals including the Panorama Festival in New York City and Colors of Ostrava Festival. They will also be going on tour in the summer starting in June, and ending in early September.
