English punk rock band Buzzcocks, is celebrating their 40th anniversary by releasing a reissue of their self-released debut EP Spiral Scratch on January 27th. Domino Records will also release Times Up, “a studio bootleg of the band’s first-ever studio recording session” on March 10th.
Formed in Bolton, England in 1976, Buzzcocks became renowned as one of Manchesters most influential punk rock bands. Originally released on January 29, 1997, Spiral Scratch marked this bands first ever self-released EP.
Spiral Scratch will be available digitally and on a limited edition 7 inch vinyl with an insert including originally press release. Times Up will be available on CD, vinyl and digitally. Both are available for preorder through Domino Records.
Limited to 1000 copies, together the two reissues will be combined into a Buzzcocks (mk.1) Boxset containing:
