Jordan Michael Houston–better known by most as Juicy J–is a popular rapper, singer, and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee. Houston has been an established figure in the music industry since the 1990’s, notable for being part owner of Taylor Gang Records, and a founding member of the southern hip hop group, Three 6 Mafia. His latest studio album, Stay Trippy, was released in 2013, and became his first record since departing from Three 6 Mafia.
After moving away from his previous group, Houston began appearing on mixtapes, and collaborating with rapper Wiz Khalifa. Eventually, in 2011, he became part of Taylor Gang Records, now acting as part owner and A&R representative for the label. Although, Houston began his solo career much earlier. His debut studio album, Chronicles of the Juice Man, dropped in 2002, however, it would be almost seven years later till the release of his sophomore effort, Hustle Till I Die. Since then, Juicy J has had an influx of success and popularity, and has collaborated with many popular rappers, as well as mainstream pop artists. Juicy J is set to drop his 4th studio record, Rubba Band Business, in early 2017.
