The Foo Fighters have already confirmed a summer European tour for 2017 and today the band announced their first U.S. concert in 19 months will be a headlining set for Napa’s BottleRock festival running from May 26 to May 28. They haven’t yet shared any other U.S. dates for 2017 but released a cryptic clue via twitter which showed the Napa region highlighted in red against a black and white map as well as a stamped passport on their website. This tweet is very similar to a previous one in which sites in Europe were highlighted on the same kind of map and eventually lead to the release of their European tour dates.

Over at their website, they’re using a passport motif, and clicking on the passport reveals the dates in the form of stamps. You can also click on each stamp and be directed to more information about the festival it represents. This started with the NOS Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 7. Then, a few days later, they said they would be playing the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain on July 6. Since then
So far official announcements have been made for Madrid, Denmark, Poland, Belgium, and Iceland as the band headlines festival shows overseas before returning stateside where hopefully BottleRocket serves as the first of many U.S tour dates and festivals but nothing been officially released.
