LISTEN: Six Tyler, The Creator Songs Are Unearthed from His 2008 Myspace Page

Before Tyler, The Creator became critically acclaimed in the music world he was just a California native posting self-made songs onto his Myspace page. Tyler, The Creator grew up in the Los Angeles and Sacramento area. During this time Tyler relocated to 12 various schools. About a year before Tyler released the album Bastard, he was releasing his singles onto his Myspace page.

As of today, a Redditor unlocked Tyler’s old Myspace page from 2008. At this point in time, Tyler was performing under the name I Smell Panties. There are six tracks from his Myspace which feature profane lyrics about Disney characters, streetwear and his juvenile mindset. Needless to say, Tyler has seemingly always been extremely controversial with his use of words. He has acquired a large fan base throughout the years but has often been criticized in the media for his use of language. Regardless of his negative media coverage, Tyler has only risen in popularity over the years.

Not only has Tyler released a variety of studio albums but he has also dipped his feet into a few other side jobs. For instance, he has directed a handful of music videos. Some of his music videos are self-directed but he has also been the director for Trash Talk, Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy Beats and a few others. Along with, getting involved with filmography. Tyler has made appearances on The Late Night Jimmy Fallon Show, When I Was 17, The Mindy Project and so forth. Most interestingly, he owns his own clothing company called Golf Wang and streaming service named Golf Media. Check out his “oldest” or “latest” singles released beforehand.
