Richard David James, commonly referred to by his stage name Aphex Twin released a new song titled, “tnodvood104.” Specifically, Aphex Twin is known for his eccentric work in electronic music. For instance, he became a well-known figure in the 90’s for IDM anacid techno music style.
At the beginning of his music career, he was a DJ at a local pub. In doing so, he gained confidence in his music when a friend (Wilson-Claridge) was impressed by his DJ sets, in which was his self-made music. He began expanding his horizons and making music outside the pub. In 1991, he released his first vinyl record, “EP Analogue Bubblebath” via Mighty Force Records. The EP made an appearance on a London based radio station that helped him gain success.
With all the excitement of his new musical career, James decided to team up with Wilson-Claridge to start Rephlex Records. Rephlex Records is a record label that encourages people to revisit their past with Acid music. The both describe the genre as a “much-loved and misunderstood genre of house music forgotten by some and indeed new to others, especially in Britain.” Via Rephlex Records, Aphex Twin continued to release new music.
Since 1991, Aphex Twin has released a plentitude of studio albums singles, EPs, compilations and promotional. As of today, he released his newest song that is available for viewing below!
