The only hurricane people are actually excited for has just announced their 2017 lineup and you’re going to want to travel towards this one. The Hurricane Festival released their 2017 lineup and features artists like Boys Noize, Gogol Bordello and Die Antwoord with other notable acts including rock icons Green Day and Blink 182. The Festival will be a great way to kick start summer, taking place on June 23-25 in Eichenring, Scheeßel. Don’t know where that is or how to get there? Not a problem, as there will be a handy map posted on the festival’s official website as it gets closer to June. Additionally, the website has detailed camping information along with a list of the different facilities Hurricane Festival has to offer. They also recognize a list of food options available at the festival is almost as important as the list of artists themselves, and curated a special lineup particularly dedicated to the various food trucks set to be present on site. The Hurricane Festival has been blessing the festival season since 1999, going strong for nineteen years. Every year 130,000 people travel to Eichenring, Scheeßel in order to attend Hurricane Festival and it’s twin event Southside Festival which runs at the same time with the same lineup. Last year, big names like Mumford & Sons and Rammstein headlined the show, putting on a spectacular performance which set the bar high for headlining performers this year.
Boys Noize will be more than ready for the feat, as they’ll be on a major hot streak after releasing a new album last month and performing at major music event HOLY SHIP! Music Cruise 2017 in January 2017. Earlier this year in April, the band released new song called “Starchild” which you can listen to here so you can get extra pumped to see them live in Germany in June.
like Boys Noize, Gogol Bordello will be making an appearance at an additional festival in March called GOODfest that will no doubt pump him up for Hurricane, guaranteeing fans an unforgettable performance.
