Tove Lo @ Fox Theatre 2/8

Swedish pop sensation Tove Lo is coming to Oakland in February! She’s hitting the road on her Lady Wood tour which features Phoebe Ryan and is playing at the Fox Theatre. The tour is promoting her recent album, also entitled Lady Wood, which released in 2016. She’s touring the world, traveling throughout North and South America, as well as the various parts of Europe.

Most recently Tove Lo has hit success in the U.S with her hits Cool Girl, Habits, and Influence which features rapper Wiz Khalifa. Her sound is a mix of EDM and soft grunge pop. Her lyrics are catchy, driven by her hooks, and carry an infectious beats. Tove Lo’s music is perfect for a night out hitting the club and dancing with your girls. Her songs Cool Girl and Habits have hit over 2 million hits on Spotify alone and have been atop the musical charts when each song respectively came out. Tove Lo was dubbed “the world’s most brutally honest pop star” by Out magazine back in 2014.

Before Tove Lo put out Lady Wood, she dropped her first album Queen of the Clouds which is responsible for the single Habits and Talking Body. Fans of Ellie Goulding, Lorde, and Halsey are gonna be into Tove Lo. Her soulful voice coupled with her EDM beats and provocative lyrics are lively whether you’re singing along with the radio as you drive down the freeway or you’re dancing away a Friday night.
