Dylan LeBlanc @ 3TEN ACL 1/21

Folk musician Dylan LeBlanc picks up the pieces from his troubled, addiction fueled past, and puts his best foot forward on his third full-length album, Cautionary Tale. Although LeBlanc is from Shreveport, Louisiana, he spent much of his early life watching his father play various clubs and venues in Alabama– likely influencing his early love of music.

Like many musicians, LeBlanc’s musical pursuits stem from his early teens, when he bonded with childhood friend Daniel Goodwill over a mutual love of classic rock and pot. Following in the footsteps of his musician father, LeBlanc decided to pursue music full time, and eventually signed to Rough Trade Records when he was 19. LeBlanc’s debut record, Paupers Field, was released through Rough Trade in 2010. His soulful and bluesy, Americana style, has helped him attain national attention, and tours with musicians such as Lucinda Williams and The Civil Wars. Cast the Same Old Shadow, LeBlanc’s sophomore debut, advanced his folksy ways in a much dreamier, dronier way. At the young age of 26, you can be sure to expect the talented singer/songwriter to push the envelope even further in the years to come.

Dylan LeBlanc will perform the new 3TEN ACL Live– underneath its sister venue at the Moody Theatre –on January 21st
