While the new video for “Fat Faded Fuck Face” is not exactly designed for your mother’s viewing pleasure: South African rap duo Die Antwoord have managed to blend the lines between Keith Herring’s gorgeous graffiti and a Lady GaGa video where Marilyn Manson crashes the party and respectfully possesses and simultaneously tortures everyone in a twisted, well twist to the cinema graphic events at hand. But that’s just a writer who tends towards the more descriptive side of things, trying to paint a picture for her lovely audience. In reality, to understand Die Antwoord’s provocative new video, is to experience it for one’s self.
But, if anyone is looking for an instructional video on how to balance a cocktail glass between his or her’s butt cheeks, well…one half of the hip-hop group in question’s directorial efforts accomplish that too. The recently debuted video directed by D.A.’s Yolandi Visser follows up the group’s most recent studio album release Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid.
