Oh yeah don’t threaten me with a good time with Panic! At the Disco on March 25th down at the Oracle Theater this spring. Hit up this casual affair for the cheap seats so it won’t be the end of all things (a.k.a your wallet or rent check) or go for pit tickets. Either region of the arena is perfect to hear the impressive vocals of frontman Brendon Urie. The alt-rock/folk/electronic sound of this band has a little bit of something for everyone, so you’ll be guaranteed a good time no matter your preferred genre. Opening for Panic! will be Saint Motel and MisterWives.
Mostly recently Panic! At the Disco came out with Death of A Bachelor, which is the album for the best known for the hits Victorious and Hallelujah. The album went on to be the band’s best selling album. Past those recent accomplishments, Panic!’s notable tracks are every song from 2005-2008 that moody teens loved, myself included, such as Nine In The Afternoon, Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off, The Ballad of Mona Lisa, and I Write Sins Not Tragedies from their previous five studio albums.
Don’t close the door on this concert, this venue, or the experience of seeing Panic! live. Urie is known for his versatile set list which include new songs, previous hits, and even sometimes covering classics like Carry On My Wayward Son. Not only are you promised rad throwbacks and hits, the crowd interaction is fantastic, the atmosphere will be as electric as Vegas lights. The event of seeing Urie perform is worth the trek to Oakland, so mark this arena tour on your calendar.
