WATCH: Lacuna Coil Releases New Video for “Naughty Christmas”

Lacuna Coil recently released a new lyric video for the song “Naughty Chistmas”. The video can be listened to below.

According to Blabber Mouth, Lacuna has recently finished performing on their European tour, with sold out shows in cities such as London, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton and Tilburg. This was to support the latest album called Delirium. Between the production and the touring, the guitarist Marco Biazza had departured from the band, leading to the recruitment of Diego Cavallotti as a the new guitarist.

The video was edited by the bassist, Marco Coti-Zelati, designing the lyric video’s cover and font, and released through Century Media Records. Unlike most Christmas songs, this song starts off with bells but continues with a heavy drum and electric guitar beats with screams by Andrea Ferro, who had talked about the recent album and the band in an interview with MXDWN. The song revolves around telling a story about Krampus, which is a creatures that punishes children who misbehave contrasting the idea of Santa Claus. Throughout the song, the lyrics talk about watching out for the Krampus, because its trying to find the children, and not being able to run away from it. Along with the lyrics, the audience sees a image of the Krampus dragging children away and picking children up by their heads.
