Earlier this year, At The Drive In, promised their faithful fan base that they would be releasing new music before the year is over.
The song “Governed by Contagion” is going to be featured on At The Drive In’s upcoming album which will be produced by ORL and Rich Costey. What is particularly interesting about the release of this song is that it is the first song written and recorded by At The Drive In since 2000 when they released their album Relationship Of Command. Critics are already putting out their reviews for the new song.
“What better way to soundtrack the fraying of nerves in America…picks right up where 2000’s Relationship of Command left off, with a nervous and noisy shot of heavy post-hardcore.”—NPR
“packs a ton of punch…sounds about as bleak and angry as most of America feels right now…this sick world just might be healed after all.”—VULTURE
“The fierce, stuttering anthem is pretty classic ATDI”—SPIN
“blistering”—ROLLING STONE
That is not the only news that they have revealed to fans. At The Drive In has announced upcoming tour dates for 2017.
