Secret Solstice Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Foo Fighters, The Prodigy and Pharoahe Monch

Iceland’s Secret Solstice has brought top notch show for 2017 by revealing the line up featuring Foo Fighters, The Prodigy, Richard Ashcroft, and many more. Secret Solstice is Iceland’s largest music festival that first started making waves from its first edition in 2014. Social media outlets have coined it “the world’s most unique music festival” by bring such a diverse set of artists under one festival. The 4th edition takes place on June 16-18, 2017 at the capital city Reykjavik, Iceland during the summer solstice with 72 hours of sunlight.

Some of the acts on the bill include rock legends Foo Fighters along with featuring UK electronic legends The Prodigy, and Richard Ashcroft from The Verve. More electronic acts to the list include Pharoahe Monch, Foreign Beggars, Dubfire, Novelist, Dusky and other acts are just the beginning of the list. The Chicago house legend Kerri Chandler will be returning for the third time for the event. More acts include Iceland’s very own talent featuring Hogni, Ulfur Ulfur, Amabadama, Emmsje, Gauti, GKR, Tiny, Aron Can, KSF, and Alvia Islandia.

This epic festival is set during the summer solstice weekend where the sun will never full set during the event because of Iceland’s location of being in close proximity to the Arctic Circle. Such a phenomenon may be normal for locals, but for foreigners it is a new experience to flock across the world for. Secret Solstice is not only one of the world’s only major music festival to be certified CarbonNeutral, but also has teamed up with WOW air airline to fly directly to Iceland from almost all major destinations in Europe and North America.
