Hellfest Open Air Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Deep Purple, Linkin Park and Slayer

From 22,000 to over 150,000, one thing is for certain: attendees of French music festival: Hell Fest Summer Open Air, don’t turn out in the numbers they do for the foi-gras, or the tuna nicoise. But, what they do come for (and have since the summer of 2006),  is three days of mind-melting, life-bending heavy metal.

And, well, 2017’s line-up promises just the same…maybe even better, or more? Hell Fest is set to kick off at it’s usual place of “business” in Clisson in Loire-Atlantique, A.K.A. France. So, for le fellow Americans reading this (and all those not holding French citizenship status out there), make sure your passport is up to date, for there isn’t anywhere else one would want to be on June 16th, 17th, and 18th of this upcoming year, except for Hell Fest. Duh.

Headliners include the legendary Aerosmith, Linkin Park, and Deep Purple. Subsequent, yet equally impressive artists  gracing the event’s bill go to the tune of Slayer, Blue Oyster Cult, Suicidal Tendencies, Trust, and Rancid. Yes, Rancid. Plus a (no pun intended) hell of a lot more.
