French electronic music duo “Justice: which consists of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have shared new visuals featuring actress Susan Sarandon dancing in the back of a car for their track ‘Fire’ from their newly released album Woman. Justice are known for incorporating a strong rock and indie influence and Sarandon was chosen to star in the retro vibed video due to her “iconic mix of cool, allure and strength.” The video was directed by Pascal Teixeira and give a nod to retro 80’s films while taking the viewer on a joyride through the desert heading off into the sunset from behind the wheel of a convertible. According to a statement from Teixeira, the idea behind the video came after a “hot summer afternoon” of “collectively daydreaming about washing a car.”
Justice had been laying relatively low for the last five years after releasing their 2011 sophomore album Audio, Video, Disco. After becoming internationally known for 2007 smash single “D.A.N.C.E.”, the duo catapulted to success with their debut album † (Cross) . Their third proper full-length, Woman, attempts to recapture the same oomph as their first two records and mostly succeeds. Justice has achieved the kind of success many artists only dream of but even with their metoric rise a lot of people still consider “D.A.N.C.E.” the duo’s only real “hit” to date.
