It may have shocked fans when The Weekend released his most recent collaboration with the electric dance music artists Daft Punk with “Starboy.” Of course the collaboration became an instant hit on the top charts. The Weekend will be releasing his highly anticipated album StarBoy next Friday via XO/Republic. Before the albums released he already graced us with “Starboy” and now he is giving us new collaboration with Daft Punk called “I Feel It Coming.” This will be the second song that The Weekend and Daft Punk have released. Other artists that the new album will feature are Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future.
Daft Punk laid out a swift and cool beat that compliments the new love track. The track is easy to relate to because haven’t we all been through the beginning of love. The Weekend has always done a great job of having that sweet voice that a love song just rolls of his tongue. He assures her that even though they have been hurt before, they don’t have to run from it. The collaboration between The Weekend and Daft Punk have proven to be a success with the soft beats and lyrics. Unfortunately we have to wait until next Friday to see where else The Weekend will take us with Starboy.
