Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry performed earlier this week as the special musical guest at Greg Barris’ Heart of Darkness comedy event at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn.
During her set, Mayberry busted out special covers of Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer,” Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball”, and Ben Folds Five’s “Brick”. Interpretive dance comedian Seth Herzog, clad in a Wonder Woman costume, accompanied the “Wrecking Ball” performance.

Chvrches released their sophomore full-length Every Open Eye last fall. The album received widespread critical and commercial acclaim. The group last performed on October 18, and have no upcoming dates scheduled. They toured consistently throughout the past two years.
