Sock Puppet Parody has recently released a video of a parody to tribute White Zombie and their song “More Human Than Human” to get ready for Halloween.
According to BlabberMouth, Sock Puppet Parody has previously released videos titled “Master Of Sock Puppets” in order to tribute to Metallica, “Wait In Bleach” in order to parody Slipknot, and “Folding Hostile” from Pantera. With this new video, a sock puppet of Rob Zombie was performing with many other sock puppets such as a pumpkin head, a mummy, and a werewolf. In this video, the pumkin head plays guitar, the mummy plays bass guitar and the werewolf plays drums. As the sock puppets perform, they change the lyrics from the original song to tell a tale about how a sock was not completely dried after a wash. The video can be watched below.
The video begins with the sock puppets rocking out to the beats and continues the performance as the singer portrayed as Rob Zombie riding a car with a sock puppet dressed up as a vampire. There are also scenes of a sock being injected with a “formulae”, which is explained in the context of the sock being tossed in the laundry and being ready to start a new cycle of washing.
Over the summer, the band work toward the release of their documentary It Came From N.Y.C, which explained how the band got together and became known as what it is today. The band had also worked on the music video for their song “Medication for the Melancholy” which came from their recent album The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.
