Just last month, Australian alternative rock band Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds released their 16th studio album, Skeleton Tree, to massive success, both critically and commercially. The now 33-years old band really dived into the concept of confronting death with Skeleton Tree, following the tragic death of Cave’s 15 year old son. Along with the album came the Andrew Dominik-directed companion film “One More Time With Feeling,” whose theatrical success justified a second nationwide run.

A little over a month later, the band announced that it will be bringing the songs from the acclaimed album to life on the stage alongside other Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds classics and deep cuts in their upcoming 2017 tour. With a touring lineup consisting of Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, Thomas Wydler. Jim Sclavunos, Conway Savage, George Vjestica and Larry Mullins, the Bad Seeds will be touring across the great outback for 12 dates before heading to North America for another 19 gigs.

The tour kicks off May 26th in Brooklyn and loops around the United States and Canada before ending June 29th at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. Tickets for all of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ North American shows go on sale Friday.
