Nouvelle Vague has released a new video for their song “La Pluie Et Le Beau Temps”, a song that will feature on the band’s new LP. This new LP I Could Be Happy is set to release on November 4th, 2016 through Kwaidan Records/!K7.
According to the press release, this song was composed by Olivier Libaux, and will feature Élodie Frégé. Throughout the song, the video transitions from scenes of a calm environment to scenes of the band performing. These calm environments includes seagulls flying and palm trees. Coming back from their hiatus, the band returns to their style of mixing 80’s and 90’s punk, post-punk and new wave and reinterpretating these genres into Brazilian Bossa Nova. Through this return, the band has also made plans for a tour that will support this upcoming album.
The band has also released their new LP called Athol Brose through Kwaidan Records/!K7. As the band has made an announcement about I Could Be Happy, they have also released a track list of the songs that will feature new original music. This will be their first album that will feature new content.
