The band, Qui, featuring Paul Christensen and Matt Cronk, are releasing their upcoming EP later this week. How To Get Ideas comes out on October 13th and its is highly anticipated, perhaps due to the collaboration with Big Business member Toshi Kasai and drummer for the Melvins, Dale Crover, being producers of it. Actually, both are present in the album along with Qui, providing vocals, guitar and drums. This new EP brings excitement for fans as usual, but the excitement is brought to new heights with Crover’s elusive presence on How To Get Ideas, given that his new solo album Skins is also on the horizon.
Themes of the album consist of thoughtful lyrics with a psychedelic vibe, reminiscent of a late 1960s genre. The full track list is shown below:
