American hip-hop artist Danny Brown has been a unique individual since his entrance on to the scene, receiving plenty of accolades early on in his career with his last three studio albums, and it just seems like he could not wait any more than he has to release his newest studio album. According to Pitchfork, Brown has decided that he will forgo his original release date plans for Atrocity Exhibition which was set to come out on September 30th, and instead has released it a few days earlier to the public.
Earlier today, Brown sent out a tweet to his fans saying “COULDN’T WAIT ANY LONGER”, and released it to stream on both Apple Music and Spotify. The new LP includes previously released tracks such as “Really Doe,” “Pneumonia,” “Rolling Stone,” “When It Rain,” and “Tell Me What I Don’t Know.” Atrocity Exhibition features appearances from many big name artists in the hip-hop world today, like Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, and Ab-Soul (all on “Really Doe”) plus several others. The LP was produced by Alchemist, who is also the producer who helped create the most recent Mr. Wonderful album by Action Bronson, and he brings his unique style of hip-hop beats to bring Brown’s lyrics to life.
Danny Brown is currently in the midst of a huge North American tour that is taking all over the US, this new album release will get fans chomping at the bits to see the new work performed live.
