To those who were hoping to rave and party their faces off in LA this upcoming Halloween, it seems that according to LA Weekly, the Day of The Dead Music Festival, which serves as the smaller Fall equivalent to Hard Summer, has been canceled and will not be taking place this year as expected. The Halloween-themed dance festival was a mecca for those traveling to party on the haunted night, dressing up and raging until the morning to performances from musicians such as Big Gigantic, Deadmau5, Nero, Flying Lotus, Skrillex, and many more big name acts.
The news was first reported on YourEDM last Friday from an Instagram user named Vidalia, posting a screenshot of a private message from Gary Richards’ (Founder of Hard) Twitter account stating the cancellation of this year’s event, and by Monday there were Hard representatives confirming the leaked news.
