Beck Announces Vinyl Back-Catalog Reissue For October 2016 Release

American singer-songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist Beck has announced that UMe will be reissuing his entire DGC/Geffen/Interscope catalog on vinyl. The series will be kicked off by 1996’s classic Odelay, 2002’s Sea Change, and 2005’s Guero which will all be officially released on October 28. Sea Change will be released as a double LP, and “Guero will be made available for the first time ever as a single LP.” Reissues for the artist’s other classics, Mellow Gold, Mutations, Midnight Vultures, The Information, andModern Guilt will be joining the list as vinyl reissues.

Besides this batch of re-releases, specialty outfit and the self-acknowledged “best damn record club on earth” Vinyl Me, Please chose Odelay as their album of the month to exclusively reissue in a beautiful 180g bourbon-colored vinyl. Other than the record itself, the package will include a 12″ x 12″ poster from the original pressing, a 5″ x 5″ high-gloss sticker, and a 12″ x 12″ piece of original artwork by Scott Allen.

Outside of his many upcoming vinyl releases, the artist will release the currently untitled follow-up to 2014’s Grammy-winning Morning Phase next month, on October 21 via Capitol Records. It will include his recent single “Wow,” as well as last year’s “Dreams.”
