Topshop Selling $700 Against Me! Jacket Without Permission

An international retail brand called Top Shop is catching some heat after they neglected to get permission from the popular punk rock band, to sell a $700 jacket with their name “Against Me!” printed across the sleeve. Included among the leather and silver studs is the name of another punk band “Vandals,” along with the phrase “Still Hating” in vintage script on the lower backside.

Leading vocalist Laura Jane Grace took straight to Twitter to directly voice her discontent with the company.

In a brief statement with ConsequenseOfSound, a representative from Topshop said they were looking into the problem and have began to pull the product from their shelves.

For fans looking to listen to Against Me! rather than wear them, you can catch the punk rockers on tour with Bad Religion this fall. They will likely be promoting their most recent album Shape Shift With Me, which was released on Sept. 16.

So far the band has dropped two music videos from the anticipated album, one called “333” and the other “Crash“.

You can even catch new song by the band called “Haunting, Hanted, Haunts” featured on Adult Swims Singles Program, where they will be releasing new music material every day for twenty five weeks straight.
