This has been a huge breakout year for rookie hip hop artist Anderson .Paak and its about to get even bigger. Earlier in January he released his debut album Malibu and joined up with acclaimed producer Knxledge to create an unstoppable hip hop group by the name of NxWorries. They first released the EP Link Up and Suede to the world, now the dynamic duo is dropping their debut album together titled Yes Lawd! on Oct. 21.
They have given fans a small taste of the forthcoming album with their first single, “Lyk Dis” a cheery feel good hip hop track. Listen to the new single below.
In addition to this year, Anderson .Paak has performed some insane sets at several of 2016’s biggest music festivals of 2016. One of which was Coachella where he performed with major figures in the rap game like Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar.
